Pap Smear Screening

Pap Smear screening is a procedure for cervical cancer. It tests for the presence of precancerous or cancerous cells on your cervix. The cervix is the opening of the uterus. It involves collecting cells from your cervix – the lower, narrow end of your uterus that’s at the top of your vagina. Detecting cervical cancer early to give you a greater chance at a cure.
