Dr Lim is a co-investigator in three ongoing studies focusing on preimplantation genetic screening, time-lapse monitoring for embryo selection, and correlation of chromosome copy number analysis.

Dr Lim Min Yu is an experienced specialist in Obstetrics, Gynaecology, and Reproductive Medicine, with over two decades of clinical experience in fertility care, IVF, gynae-laparoscopic surgery, and pregnancy management.
He completed his medical degree at the University of Glasgow and underwent specialist training in Obstetrics & Gynaecology in the West of Scotland. He further pursued advanced training in Reproductive Endocrinology, Subfertility, and Laparoscopic Surgery. Dr Lim has been a Member of the Royal College of Obstetricians & Gynaecologists (RCOG) since 2005 and was awarded Fellowship in 2018.
Before entering private practice, Dr Lim served as a Consultant in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology at the National University Hospital (NUH), Singapore. He held academic appointments as Assistant Professor at the National University of Singapore and Program Director of the OBGYN Residency Programme at the National University Health System. He continues to contribute to postgraduate training as a Visiting Consultant at NUH, actively involved in teaching through the PROMPT obstetric emergency workshop faculty.
Dr Lim is also actively engaged in research, currently serving as a co-investigator in ongoing studies involving preimplantation genetic testing, time-lapse monitoring for embryo selection, and chromosome copy number analysis—focusing on improving IVF outcomes and reducing miscarriage risks. His scholarly contributions include book chapters, peer-reviewed papers, and regional conference presentations. Recent topics include elective egg freezing and its evolving role in fertility preservation.
Dr Lim has served in several leadership roles, including as past President of the Obstetrical and Gynaecological Society of Singapore (OGSS) and Chair of the Singapore International Representative Committee of the RCOG.
He is committed to providing patient-centred, evidence-based care in fertility and women’s health, combining clinical practice with continued contributions to research, teaching, and professional development.
