Semen Analysis
A semen analysis looks at the volume and quality of a man’s sperm. It is one of the first steps to detect male fertility issues. The test also shows whether a vasectomy was successful. It involves collecting a sample and evaluating it in a lab.
What is Semen Analysis?
A semen analysis is a laboratory test that evaluates the health and viability of sperm. It measures factors like sperm count, motility (movement), morphology (shape), volume and others parameters to assess fertility or confirm successful vasectomy procedures.

Frequent Q&A
A.I. Semen Analysis uses machines to quickly and accurately measure sperm count, movement, and shape. It’s faster, more consistent, and reduces human error since the process is all done by technology. The results can be released as quickly as one hour from time of submission.
Manual Semen Analysis is done by a lab technician who looks at the sperm sample under a microscope. In addition to the parameters covered by A.I. semen analysis, the sperm vitality test is performed as well. While A.I. is accurate, the automated system may not evaluate every sperm characteristic as thoroughly as an experienced technician can in manual analysis. If sperm count is very low, the machine may have difficulty providing accurate results for certain parameters.
