Dr Andy Tan Wei Keat, an experienced Obstetrician & Gynaecologist in Singapore, boasts over 15 years of expertise. His sub-specialty lies in Endometriosis, Pelvic Pain, Robotic, and Minimal Access Surgeries.

 

He holds full accreditation as a specialist on the Ministry of Health (MOH)’s Specialist Register in Singapore. Before entering private practice, Dr Tan served as a Consultant with the Department of Obstetrics & Gynaecology at Singapore General Hospital (SGH), specialising in minimally invasive and robotic surgeries (MIRS).

 

Dr Tan has been recognized for his outstanding contributions in the field, receiving accolades such as the Best Systematic Review in Medicine and Surgery at the Annual EBM Seminar in 2011, the Best Advanced Specialty Trainee Award (SGH) in 2015, the Service Quality (SQ) Awards for Service with a HEART award, acknowledging his excellence in service quality, and Singhealth’s 10 years long service award in 2018.

Dr Tan recently earned a nomination for the ‘Quality Improvement (QI) Project of the Year (2022)’ at SGH Quality Convention. This nomination acknowledges exceptional projects that leverage structured improvement methodologies to achieve high-impact outcomes.

 

Service As Clinical Assistant Professor

 

In addition to his medical responsibilities, Dr Tan actively contributes to both undergraduate and postgraduate education. He serves as an appointed Clinical Assistant Professor at Duke-NUS, a Clinical Lecturer with the NUS Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, a Core Faculty Member with Singhealth’s Obstetrics & Gynaecology Residency Programme since 2016, and has been a valued OGSS council member since 2021.

Dr Tan’s involvement in medical research is noteworthy, with publications in both local and international peer-accredited journals. He has also presented his research findings at various conferences and public forums in Singapore and abroad.
