Happy 14^th anniversary, everyone!

Today, as we gather to celebrate the 14th anniversary of Sincere Healthcare Group, I feel a profound sense of gratitude and pride. Fourteen years ago, we embarked on a journey fuelled by hope, compassion, and the unwavering belief in the miracles of life. We’ve faced challenges, celebrated victories, and most importantly, forged a strong, resilient team that has become the heart of our organisation.

When I reflect on our journey, I’m reminded of the many obstacles we’ve encountered along the way. Each challenge we faced seemed daunting at the time, whether it was navigating the complexities of medical advancements, overcoming regulatory impediments, or simply dealing with the emotional weight of the patients who had placed their trust in us. But with each struggle, we have grown stronger, bonded by our shared objective.

In those moments, I saw the actual spirit of our organisation. We are more than just coworkers; we are family. We shared ideas, laughs, and tears. We were open to each other’s suggestions and stayed focused on our common goal. That unity transformed a challenging task into an opportunity for growth and creativity.

As we celebrate today, I’d like to remind you that the journey is ongoing. We will continue to encounter new challenges in the future, some of which we may not have anticipated. The world of healthcare is constantly changing, and we must be ready to adapt. But I’m confident that we’ll rise to the occasion, as we always have. Our history is a testament to our resilience, and our future will be bright as long as we continue to support one another and work as a unified team.

Let us continue to push boundaries, support one another, and turn obstacles into opportunities. Together, we can write the next chapter of our story, one full of optimism, triumph, and the extraordinary power of collaboration.

In honour of this occasion, we will hold a half-day team-building event followed by dinner at Jewel Changi Airport on October 23, 2024, and all Sincerians will get a one-time 14th anniversary $140 Ang Bao, which will be credited together with the October 2024 salary.

2023 holds particular significance, as Sincere Healthcare Group achieved a momentous year of financial growth and completed a series of strategic moves that substantially enhanced our capabilities. As we near the end of 2023, let us pause and reflect on the incredible journey we have had together.

Despite the challenging economic conditions, we posted strong year-over-year revenue growth to close 2023 on a high note. This outstanding accomplishment showcases the unwavering commitment and tireless hard work of every Sincerian and underscores the robustness of our business model. We also want to acknowledge the significant contribution of our team of consultants and specialists, such as Ms Tracy Ong and Prof Anupriya, to our success. Together, we will keep our year-on-year growth trajectory strong and healthy.

In July, the Group achieved another strategic expansion with the 100% acquisition of Ng2 O&G Clinic Pte Ltd and Embryonics2 Pte Ltd and the setting up of SMSC-Andy Tan Clinic for Women. These moves further strengthen our position in the healthcare sector by broadening our specialist services and empowering us to better serve our patients. Looking ahead, we will continue to seek suitable investment opportunities in Singapore and overseas to drive the sustainable growth of our business for the long term.

October marked the 13^th Anniversary of Sincere Healthcare Group, a milestone that was made possible with the collective efforts of every Sincerian. Eligible staff received a service incentive and everyone had a wonderful celebration at Sky22 @ Courtyard by Marriott Singapore Novena.

Each one of you has played an integral role in shaping our Company’s legacy. I am immensely proud of all that you have achieved for the Company and grateful for your steadfast contributions. It is, therefore, with great pleasure that I announce that the Company will award eligible Sincerians the following payouts:

• a Variable Bonus based on your performance in 2023;
• a Company Performance Bonus of up to one month’s salary;
• a Cost-of-living Support Bonus of up to one month’s salary; and
• a Retention Bonus of up to one month’s salary.

Congratulations on the 13^th Anniversary of Sincere Healthcare Group! This incredible milestone stands as a testament to the collective efforts, dedication and unwavering commitment of our Sincerian family.

Today, as I reflect on the remarkable journey of Sincere Healthcare Group over the past thirteen years, I am filled with pride and gratitude for each and every one of you. Reflecting on our journey from one humble specialist clinic in 2010 to the present where we have five prominent men’s and women’s healthcare centres in Singapore as well as an international footprint in Malaysia and China, it is clear how far we have come. The recent acquisition of a 100% stake in Ng2 O&G Clinic Pte Ltd and Embryonics2 Pte Ltd reaffirms our steadfast commitment to becoming a premier healthcare service provider that offers compelling capabilities that make a significant difference to our customers. I would like to take this opportunity to extend a warm welcome to Dr Chen Naiqing, Lyn Lim, Siaw Kai Ying, Dorothy Tan and Vanessa Lai who have joined our ranks as valuable members of the Sincerian family.

A heartful thank you goes out to everyone for your tireless contributions to the success of Sincere Healthcare Group. In celebration of our 13^th Anniversary and to acknowledge your efforts, eligible employees will receive a staff service incentive of $100 for every year of service or part thereof, up to a maximum of thirteen years. This one-off amount will be disbursed to staff together with their October 2023 salary. Besides, we will have an Anniversary Celebration Tea on 31 October 2023 at Sky22 @ Courtyard by Marriott Singapore Novena, as shared by HR Department.

As 2022 draws to a close, I am proud and thankful to look back on a year that has been filled with tireless and continuous hard work that delivered superior services to our customers.

Following a tumultuous couple of years, Sincere Healthcare Group shows improved results this year with potential for stable earnings growth over the medium to long term. We enjoyed many other successes in 2022, the most notable being the Cross-border Malaysia-Singapore Fertility and Minimally Invasive Surgery Symposium held in Johor Bahru on 24 September. As invaluable members of our Sincerian family, all of you have made a significant impact on the organisation and contributed to our growth and success.

2022 also marks our 12^th Anniversary. To commemorate this occasion and in appreciation of your contributions to this special milestone, we awarded a service incentive and organised a Family Cinema Day for all Sincerians. The last twelve years would not have been possible without your dedication and vigour in carrying Sincere Healthcare Group forward.

Many others have helped build the Company into what it is today. I acknowledge with gratitude our alumni and their immeasurable contribution to the Company. It is impossible to name all of them here. They include Ms Jennifer Khoo Chye Yong (former Senior Human Resource and Operations Executive), Mr Kee Jun Yik (former Accounts Executive), Ms Yung Shin Chyi (former Embryologist) and Ms Si Cay Reen (former Lead Embryologist). We will not forget their dedication to their work.

The Company is, therefore, pleased to announce that Sincere Healthcare Group will award eligible Sincerians a Variable Bonus for the Year 2022 based on the Performance Appraisal period for 2022. This bonus will be paid in two tranches in February and August 2023. In addition, the Company acknowledges Sincerians’ contribution to our good corporate performance and will award eligible staff a Company Performance Bonus for the Year 2022 of up to one month’s salary in January 2023. Amidst a challenging global economic environment, I anticipate 2023 will be another challenging year. However, you have demonstrated your unwavering persistence and perseverance to weather tough times and I am confident that together, we will be able to overcome whatever challenges that might come our way in the new year. I am proud and thankful to announce that Sincere Healthcare Group is crossing its 12^th Anniversary milestone this October.

What began as a small specialist clinic in 2010 has grown to become a leading private service provider of men’s and women’s healthcare with a permanent presence in Singapore, Malaysia and China, and strategic alliances with O&G Partners Fertility Centre, O&G Partners IVF Centre, O&G Centre @ Gleneagles Hospital and ICON Cancer Centre. 

I am truly grateful to all Sincerians I have the pleasure of working with. We couldn’t have made it 12 years without you. Your hard work and dedication are integral to our success. Thank you for standing with us over the years and keeping us going and growing.

To commemorate our 12^th Anniversary and in recognition of your contributions, the Company will roll out the following exciting initiatives in the month of October 2022:

• All eligible employees will receive a one-off staff service incentive amount of $120 for every year of service or part thereof up to a maximum of 12 years. This amount will be paid out together with the October 2022 salary.
• In addition, employees are invited to join our Sincerian Family Cinema Day on Sunday, 30 October 2022 @ Shaw Theatres Lido (Orchard). Do mark your calendars for this event.

OUR LEGACY

Our story is one that is built from our past experiences, which enhance our present engagements and enable us to shape our future paradigm. This journey is our legacy.

Family is one of the core tenets in Asian culture, dating back centuries from a time before Confucius up until  now.  SHG was born out of the recognition of a need  to bring joy to couples who were seeking to build their families. After 12 years in service starting from 2010, SHG remains determined, motivated, and passionate to its core mission. As we celebrate SHG’s 12th Anniversary this year, we remember that it has always been a journey accompanied by the human touch of compassion, flexibility, fortitude, and of course, our honour of being unique within the IVF industry.

Throughout its years, SHG has faced numerous moments of reality influenced by both internal and external factors. SHG has always remained courageous, braving forth and never letting up its impetus to continuously update its knowledge, refine its techniques, and to embrace change. It is these crucial characteristics of SHG that have allowed SHG to recognise, manage, and overcome pitfalls.

Our customers’ success motivates me the most. I am a strong believer in providing good and attentive service to our customers and doing so has earned SHG their loyalty, patronage and recommendation to their families and friends. Since its inception, SHG has helped many of our customers to achieve their dream of starting a family.

SHG has grown from strength to strength, starting from one centre in Singapore to a total of seven centres within Asia in a span of 10 years. In Singapore alone, SHG has grown to have four centres within 5 years of operations.

Two major milestones for SHG were the opening of our first centre abroad in Xiamen, China in 2014, and in Johor, Malaysia in 2017. SHG’s strong growth has enabled us to open our second centre in Chengdu, China in 2018. Our services have also expanded from O&G and IVF to include Andrology Laboratory services and Vascular and Interventional services. Most recently, in 2021, SHG acquired controlling stakes in O&G Partners Fertility Centre and O&G Partners IVF Centre as well as forged strategic alliances with O&G Centre @ Gleneagles Hospital and Farrer Park Hospital-Icon Cancer Centre.

Dear Sincerians,

I am sure all Sincerians know Dr Sharifah Halimah Jaafar, Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist, by now. She was in Singapore from 5 to 9 April 2022 to engage in a shared dialogue with Prof Ng and the team on fertility and in-vitro fertilisation. The 5-day event was fruitful and beneficial to us.

I am glad that Dr Sharifah has endorsed the collaborative partnership with Sincere IVF @ Medini and will be joining the Centre on 15 April 2022.

Let us warmly welcome Dr Sharifah to the Sincerian family and work together to continue to bring Sincere Healthcare Group into the future.

Strategic Alliance with O&G Centre (K F Tham Pte Ltd) @ Gleneagles Hospital to Accelerate Growth

These are extraordinary times and we are facing challenges we have never faced before as an individual, an organisation, and a country. However, we are proud that all Sincerians have risen to the occasion and continued to provide great customer service that Sincere Healthcare Group (SHG) is known for.

SHG continues to focus on the health and well-being of our staff as a priority. In addition, we want to continue to grow profitably and expand our business in an increasingly competitive environment.

We are therefore thrilled to announce that following our investments in O&G Partners Fertility Centre and O&G Partners IVF Centre, SHG has forged a new strategic alliance with O&G Centre (K F Tham Pte Ltd) @ Gleneagles Hospital. This alliance will enhance SHG’s patient clientele, operations and quality functions as well as enable SHG to leverage its capabilities on patient overall well-being and care. From the patients’ perspective, the services delivered will be consistent and seamless.

We are confident that our expansion initiatives will bolster SHG for success and elevate our patient-centric care and services to higher standards. I am pleased to announce that Sincere Healthcare Group (SHG) has acquired 25% controlling stakes in each of O&G Partners Fertility Centre and O&G Partners IVF Centre, the leading IVF service providers in Gleneagles Hospital. This investment has demonstrated our commitment to investing considerable resources to expand and consolidate our footprint domestically. SHG’s significant China and Southeast Asia outreach will help us further expand our presence in international markets and generate robust growth opportunities.

SHG will be working closely with the management teams from O&G Partners Fertility Centre and O&G Partners IVF Centre to further strengthen our position for future development and firmly secure our unique position as THE IVF centre at Gleneagles Hospital.

We are proud to have Dr Daniel Koh, O&G specialist, join our team effective 19 April 2021. He will be residing at O&G Partners Fertility Centre @ Gleneagles Hospital.

Thank you for your support and commitment during the past year. 2020 has been a challenging year, to say the least. With the Covid-19 pandemic, we all have to make adjustments in our daily lives and within the Company. Its impact on our daily and routine work and business has never been more apparent than now.

The Company appreciates your co-operation to stay productive and resilient as we ride the rough wave together.

The Company recognises the efforts put in by all the staff from every department to uphold the Company’s image and support our stakeholders. One testament of your selfless contributions is the Women’s Health & Fertility Medical Centre of the Year in Asia Pacific Awards that we have received from GlobalHealth Asia-Pacific Awards 2020 for both SIVF, Singapore and IVF Centre@Medini, Malaysia. In addition, we have achieved a breakthrough record in our financial performance, demonstrating the Company’s position of strength amid unprecedented global changes. 

This is attributable to staff’s steadfast dedication to providing quality care and services to our customers. Year 2020 also marks the Company’s tenth anniversary, a significant milestone in our growth and development made possible by the entire staff community comprising passionate and enthusiastic individuals that the Company has the pleasure to work alongside.

The Company is pleased to announce that Sincere Healthcare Group will be awarding all our Sincerian a Variable Bonus for Year 2020 for the first time along with the annual increment. Computed based on the Performance Appraisal period for 2020, the Variable Bonus will be paid out in two (2) tranches during 2021. More details will be provided by the HR Department in due course.
