Dr Fong Yang is an Obstetrician and Gynaecologist and an IVF clinician accredited by the Singapore Ministry of Health. Over the past 20 years, he has provided dedicated care to women and sub-fertile couples. 

Dr Fong Yang is also one of the few IVF clinicians who treat both male and female infertility. He was the first in Singapore to perform percutaneous sperm aspiration for men – a procedure to overcome a condition whereby sperm cannot be produced due to obstruction of the sperm ducts.

To help couples achieve their dream of having a child, he performs laparoscopic surgery, investigates causes of infertility, enhances conception chances, and implements IUI and IVF procedures.

Dr Fong Yong specialises in early pregnancy care, especially for women who have lost or miscarried in early pregnancy. Besides close antenatal monitoring, he helps expectant mothers achieve a safe and smooth delivery. 

Dr Fong Yang graduated from the National University of Singapore (NUS) in 1990 with a medical degree. Following that,he received further specialised training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists. 

Dr Fong Yong was admitted as a Fellow of the Academy of Medicine, Singapore, in 2000.

Dr Fong is very passionate about his field of specialisation and often shares his expertise at local and international forums. He is also an avid contributor to numerous magazines, newspapers, and makes media appearances to educate and increase awareness of male and female fertility issues.
